Skin cancer screening

As Floridians we love our sunshine. So it’s important to give your skin the care it deserves. Third-year UF medical student Allison Harmel led her student-run organization in a free skin cancer screening for Gainesville residents on July 18, 2019. The screening event is the first of the group’s efforts to increase awareness of the dangers of skin cancer through education and preventative measures.
